Life event administration allows for similar life events to be categorized or grouped together, for example, changing jobs, changing address and changing income life events could be categorized within an employment category. Categorizing life events makes it easier for a citizen or user to find the life event they need. Categories are defined in life event administration and can then be associated with a life event. When defining a category, a name and description must be specified. Life events can then be associated with the category. An icon can also be specified for a category which is then displayed in the citizen account beside the category name.
