Configuring A Name

In order to authenticate the data submitted by a citizen, authentication handlers must be created. For example, to authenticate the date of birth submitted by a citizen, an authentication handler exists which contains a class to authenticate the data submitted by a citizen against the date of birth stored on the Cúram system (or an external system). The name defined for each factor identifies the handler used to authenticate the data. Three authentication handlers are provided out of the box - date of birth, SSN and PIN. For more information on creating authentication handlers see the Cúram Universal Access Customization Guide.
