Some factors are only required for the assessment in that they are used to determine the results of an assessment and are not involved in the planning aspects so therefore do not need to be available outside of the assessment. Whereas other factors are used for the assessment and are required for planning.
The planning applicable indicator allows the administrator to mark those factors that are involved in planning and will be available outside an assessment. If the planning applicable indicator is set to true, the factor can be associated with the objectives and activities that are added to the plan. If the indicator is set to false, the factor will be displayed in the assessment results only, and will not be displayed when the user is adding objectives or activities to the plan, or in the activity workspace.
