Mapping configurations are created by selecting the Create Mapping row action from the application programs list. The New Data Mapping modal window prompts the user to enter an effective date for the mapping. The effective date of the mapping is the date from when the mapping configuration, once released, is active from. After the new mapping configuration has been saved it appears in the mappings list.
