Configuring Training Requirements for Service Offerings

Training requirements ensure that provider members are qualified to provide services to the organization's clients. Once a training is recorded on the system, it can be added as a training requirement for a service offering. If the training requirement has been added for the service offering, the resource manager can select the training from the list of training requirements and apply it to the provider member. Training requirements can be set as required or recommended to be completed by provider members.

For example, Linda Smith is a child minder who is employed by the provider, Better Child Care Ltd. In order to provide child care to the organization's clients, Linda is required to have completed an emergency first aid training course. If Linda has not completed the course, and the course is managed by the organization, she can be enrolled in it. If it is a non-managed training program, the details of the course can also be recorded. Once it is established that Linda has completed the course, she can provide child care on behalf of the organization.
