Configuring Training Requirements for Licenses

Administrators can specify training requirements for provider licenses. Multiple training requirements can be added for each license type that is recorded in the system. If a training requirement is specified for a license, provider members may or may not need to have completed the training in order to be licensed by the organization, depending on whether the training is required or recommended to be completed.

For example, a provider Safe Care Ltd works with the organization to provide child care to the organization's clients. To ensure that Safe Care Ltd's employees provide a high standard of care, a child development training course is specified as a requirement in order for the provider to be licensed as a child care agency. The training is specified as required to be completed by Safe Care Ltd provider members, as it an essential that provider members are properly licensed when working with children. An administrator selects the license type of Child Care and adds the training as a requirement for the license type.
