The following table records the chronology of new I/O microcode releases to the Microcode Updates and Discovery Tool DVD-ROM. The table provides information for each Release version.

DVD-ROM image contains the Microcode Update Files and Discovery Tool that complements the Microcode Update Application for AIX 5L V5.1 and V5.2 and the UNIX Servers Microcode Updates web site. The Microcode Update Files and Discovery Tool provides simple steps to analyze the system and acquire and install microcode, without being Internet-connected and without the assistance of IBM Service. The Discovery Tool image supports "secure" accounts that do not have access to the Internet and systems without a diskette drive. It also enables efficient microcode-level surveying for new code.
