IBM® InfoSphere® Optim™ 11.3, which supports data growth, data masking, test data management, and application retirement initiatives for your relational data, is available. These release notes address compatibility, installation, and other getting-started issues.
Optim Open Data Manager 11.3 is provided with a 30-day trial license that must be replaced with a permanent license for continued use. To obtain the permanent license, first-time installers of ODM must submit a Service Request.
If you are upgrading from a version other than 9.1.x, you must obtain a new permanent license for ODM in order to continue using it for more than 30 days after installation. Customers who are upgrading ODM can follow these directions to obtain a new license.To install Optim 11.3, follow the installation instructions on the Windows installation media. You can also find detailed installation instructions for each version of Optim using the IBM InfoSphere Optim Support portal :

For version 11.3 of the Optim solutions, the Optim directory requires a minimum database management level version as listed in Table below:

Known issues are documented in the form of individual Technotes in the Support knowledge base at the Integrated Data Management Support site. As problems are discovered and resolved, the Support knowledge base is updated.
