This patch contains the following software changes:


PI24981:

   Problem: When working in IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer: submitting a new Record, or when modifying an existing record in ClearQuest Database, Static Text form control does not display.

   Fix: Fixed the problem in ClearTeam Explorer and now the Static Text form control displays correctly.


PI29258:

   Problem: When working in an IBM Rational ClearCase web view in ClearTeam Explorer, you may receive an error when renaming a file where only the case differs, for example, renaming test.txt to Test.txt.

   Fix: ClearTeam Explorer client now preserves case of destination file/directory.


PI29260:

   Problem: IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer will consider files to merge that are not selected by Merge Search wizard.

   Fix: The issue has been resolved.


PI29343:

   Problem: The cleartool lock reference page fails to mention the effects of a locked branch.

   Fix: The cleartool lock reference page has been updated with information about locked branches.


PI35312:

   Problem: When working with a ClearQuest record in IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer, History tab data is not correctly displayed.  Also, after selecting the modify action the add, remove and create buttons are not enabled.

   Fix: Working with a ClearQuest record in ClearTeam Explorer, History tab's data is now correctly displayed.  Also, the control and its associated buttons are enabled after selecting the modify action.


PI39924:

   Problem: Attempting to install IBM ClearCase 8.0.x on an un-patched Solaris 10 machine or Solaris 10 Update 1 machine will not install the MVFS. The installation will appear to be successful but the MVFS will be missing and dynamic views will be unusable.

   Fix: Install of IBM ClearCase 8.0.x on an un-patched Solaris 10 or Solaris 10 Update 1 machine will now successfully install the MVFS.


PI40328:

   Problem: IBM Rational ClearCase File Server (CCFS) client fails to transfer files larger than 2GB.

   Fix: IBM Rational CCFS client has been updated to support transfer of files larger than 2GB.


PI41513:

   Problem: When using IBM Rational ClearCase Unified Change Management (UCM), in rare cases timeline entries can be corrupted by mkbl and rebase operations.

   Fix: The timeline corruption has been prevented.


PI41997:

   Problem: When running IBM Rational ClearCase on an AIX dynamic view client, if one user creates a view and another user does a "ls -l" of a VOB using a view-extended pathname using that view, the system may panic.

   Fix: The fix is to correctly recognize an internal MVFS structure and not use a NULL pointer from one of its fields.


PI42663:

   Problem: When using the IBM Rational ClearCase cmi_migrate.pl script to migrate from a base ClearCase-ClearQuest V2 integration, you may receive an error if the script is not run in a mapped view drive.

   Fix: The script has been changed to always use a view-extended pathname so the search for hyperlinks has the correct path.


PI43802:

   Problem: IBM Rational ClearCase audited builds in dynamic views may cause Solaris 11 systems to crash.

   Fix: An uninitialized variable in an I/O path has been corrected, to eliminate system crashes.


PI44052:

   Problem: In non interactive mode, IBM ClearCase rcleartool waits on prompt for login when previous login failed.  In this mode, rcleartool should report an error and not prompt the user. 

   Fix: In non interactive mode, rcleartool login failure will report an error and exit.


PI44062:

   Problem: When an IBM Rational ClearCase VOB database has created 2,147,483,648  (2**31) records of versions labels and / or MultiSite oplogs, attempts to create more of these record types will fail.

   Fix: A VOB can now be enabled to use a version-based counter for label records that is distinct from the counter used for oplog records.


PI44432:

   Problem: When you are working in the IBM Rational ClearCase Z (Mainframe Connectors) client, you may receive an error message when trying to checkout a file that begins with a $. 

   Fix: IBM Rational ClearCase Z (Mainframe Connectors) client checkout has been fixed.


PI45346:

   Problem: IBM ClearTeam Explorer does not always recognize a custom element type based on copy merge type during Merge operations.

   Fix: ClearTeam Explorer now recognizes a custom element type based on copy merge type during Merge operations.


PI45351:

   Problem: IBM ClearCase db_server processes accessing a Unified Change Management Process VOB (UCM PVOB) at schema 80 and feature level 6 or lower may consume large amounts of memory on the VOB server host

   Fix: The db_server process has been fixed to manage its memory correctly.
