When turned on, Numeric Field Lock allows you to type only the characters 0 through 9, -, +, period, and comma into fields defined by a host application as numeric.
Numeric Field Lock is available for 3270 sessions only.
To set or clear Numeric Field Lock click Edit > Preferences > Numeric Field Lock.
