Viewing macro properties

Macro properties include the macro name, description, author, creation date, and macro location.

In a host session, you can view macro properties from any window that lists macros. For example, from the following windows, select the macro location, right-click the macro file name, and click Properties:

• The Available macros window (click the Select button from the Macro Manager)
• The Play macro window (click the Play macro button on the toolbar)
• The Add Button window (click Edit > Preferences > Toolbar > Add Button and select Macro)

You can also view a macro's properties by double clicking on a macro file name.

To edit macro properties, use the Macro Editor.
