XDE v2002 does not install into IBM's WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) v5. This paper describes the best way to share project information between XDE v2002 and WSAD. Specifically, it tells you how to structure your XDE projects so they can reside in the same locations as WSAD projects. This approach makes it relatively easy to do modeling, apply patterns, and do round-trip engineering with source code in XDE, while also editing the same source code with WSAD.
