Rational ClearCase LT Service Release 2002.05.01.305.000 is intended to update a host that is running Rational ClearCase LT Release 2002.05.00. Follow these steps to download and install this service release:
Download the patch executable onto the host to be patched.
Before installing the service release on the ClearCase LT server, stop all ClearCase LT services. (Click Start>Settings>Control Panel, double-click the ClearCase icon, then click Stop ClearCase on the Services Startup tab.)
Before installing the service release on a ClearCase LT client, exit any ClearCase LT applications that are running.
Run the patch setup.exe program and follow the prompts.

This Service Release provides the following new features:
The configspec editor has been modified to address a number of defects, mostly dealing with font sizes, scrolling, cut and paste functions, and line length. The new configspec editor no longer displays configspec keywords in color, and does not provide write-protection for configspec fields derived from a view profile.
The Project Explorer now supports changing a modifiable component to read-only only if the component has never been modified in any of the project's streams.
