Option |
Default |
-add-suppression-files |
|
Note: This option supersedes the option -suppression-filenames, which is found in earlier versions of Purify. Specifies files containing suppression directives in addition to the directives in the system-dependent default suppression files. The default suppression files are: Solaris (32 bit): .purify,.purify.solaris2,.purify.solaris2_32 Solaris (64 bit): .purify,.purify.solaris2,purify.solaris2_64 HP-UX (32 bit): .purify,.purify.hpux,.purify.hpux_32 HP-UX (64 bit): .purify,.purify.hpux,.purify.hpux_64 IRIX (32 bit): .purify,.purify.irix,.purify.irix_32 IRIX (64 bit): .purify,.purify.irix,.purify.irix_64 If you specify an unqualified filename (containing no '/' characters), Purify looks for that file in the <purifyhome>, $HOME, and program directories. For example, if you specify: % purify -add-suppression-files="$HOME/purify_suppressions" on a 32-bit system, Purify reads suppressions from: <purifyhome>/.purify Purify interprets qualified filenames as absolute or as relative to the current working directory, depending on whether a '/' precedes them.
