Some organizations, or some developers, may want to use ClearCase build auditing without using the clearmake or omake program. Others may want to audit development activities that do not involve makefiles. These users can do their work in an audited shell, a standard task with build auditing enabled.
All MVFS files read during execution of the audited shell are listed as inputs to the build. All MVFS files created become derived objects, associated with the single configuration record.
