Release Engineering Builds

• Active releases are built nightly on each supported platform

• Each platform is built in its own view which is local to the build machine

• Select release-branch/LATEST early in the release

  • Freeze views for duration of build with a time rule

• Select RELEASE-LABEL later in the release

  • Release lead advances label to accept source changes
  • Nightly builds advance label in staging VOBs
