Recommended to install trigger scripts/programs with -exec paths outside of the VOB
- You can still version trigger scripts within a VOB
Not only to help alleviate the common VOB path problem, but for better security and less dependence on user’s environment
- Script that lives inside of a VOB can be subverted
- User’s view rules may not select correct version of trigger in VOB, or may not pick it up at all!
- Snapshot view may not have trigger script loaded
