A Quick Clearmake Primer (3)
Derived objects (D.O.s): any files produced by running a build-script when audited by Clearmake.
- consider as view-private files, typically.
- every D.O. refers to a C.R. that says how it was created.
Wink-in: what Clearmake does when it determines (by comparing C.R.s) that someone has already done the same work you want to do.
- equivalent to copying D.O.s from their view to yours.
