Suggestions:
- e-mail the install results and log to a central e-mail address
- You can short circuit the install process if you compare the files in the client’s /var/adm/atria/cdf directory with the same files in central location’s …/install/cdf directory. If they match, you can skip the install.
- Run “/usr/atria/etc/atria_start stop” after the install in the script
- Placing the ClearCase Install options in shell variables will make them easier to change for future upgrades.
