Remote Upgrades

• Up to 4 concurrent installs (see $MAX_SERVER_PROCS in Remote.pl)

• Machine list can be in a file

• All machines upgraded in the same session must have the same install profile:

  • Architecture/OS: (Sparc vs RS/6000), (SunOS vs Solaris)
  • ClearCase Install Options: Install type, packages, configuration

• Requires root access across the network (rsh) from the host initiating the install (can be a trusted host)
