• Self-mastering replicas

• Entire VOB family operating at V4.0

• UDP & TCP connectivity between sites that request mastership

• Frequent synchronizations

• No contention for mastership of objects, otherwise:

  • You should branch and merge
  • There will be confusion: mastership will be wandering around the family (lshistory will help, though)
