• ClearDDTs was used to tie release numbers to release contents, not ClearCase
• CM and the test team forced development into following the DDTs model when discovering problems or receiving change requests from users
• Once the development was fully in DDTs, CM placed the executables in ClearCase, labeling the contents at that point, based on the information contained in DDTs
