• Lists ONLY view private information

  • view private files, links, shared & unshared DOs, checkedout files

• Anything not located in view private storage is NOT considered by lsprivate.

• Why not use ‘cleartool ls’?

  • ‘cleartool ls’ cannot access stranded view private information
  • in a directory not in/selected by, the view
  • When the VOB is inaccessible
