• What does the @@ mean in this context?

  • signifies the element ‘bunta.c’, in general.
  • base element data

• Does describe always need the @@?

  • Nope. Describe works on VOB objects so any of these would work:
    • cleartool describe bunta.c@@
    • cleartool describe bunta.c@@/main/fix27/9
    • cleartool describe bunta.c
