Developers build only in the directories they are working on
The build searches for libraries
- in pvtlib to find private libraries just built by the developer
- in the lib directory of the platform’s staging VOB, to find public libraries staged by nightly or release builds
- in the sys VOB for platform-specific system libraries
Developers do not normally stage (check in) versions to the staging VOBs
