Championing goals and priorities
Based on the goals set clear, simple priorities for each development project
- Keep the priority designations simple
- Must, Should, Could
- High, Medium, Low
- 1, 2, 3
- ClearGuide, ClearQuest, and ClearDDTS all have the ability to maintain and track priorities
- The “Highest” priority items drive the release
- The more “highest” priority items a release has, the more likely it is to run into logistical problems
- Priorities will ultimately be used to steer the release and to help weigh risk versus reward of key decisions
