Implementation (Resync the Mirror)

• Unmount the backup volume

  • umount /backup-mnt

• Stop the backup volume

  • vxvol -g $volume_group stop $backup_volume

• Disassociate the backup plex from the backup volume

  • vxplex -g $volume_group dis $backup_volume

• Remove the backup volume

  • vxedit -g <volume group> rm $backup_volume

• Reattach the backup plex to the mirror volume

  • vxplex -g $volume_group -o slow=5,iosize=128k att $primary_volume $backup_plex
