Process

• Lock the VOB’s

• Sync the disks and RAID

• Separate the plexes (mirrors)

• Unlock the VOB’s

• Remount a plex as a backup volume

• Archive plex to tape

• Unmount the backup volume

• Reattach and resync the plexes (mirrors)
