Description:

In the event the toolset encounters an unrecoverable error, you will be provided with a dialog with a "cancel" and "ok" option.

If you select "ok" at the prompt, after the toolset is exited, there will be files in your objectime directory with names like myproj#crash#11:13:3.update and crash#11:13:3.im. These files contain your work. Keep these files until you have recovered your work. The toolset will output a crash update file for each update in your workspace and an image (.im) file for your whole session.

Restart Objectime and activate the update myproj#crash#11:13:3 (drag from a directory browser into you workspace). You should find your work. After recovering it you should rename the update and passivate it.

It is a good idea to use passivation to save your work (drag update from workspace to directory browser).

Limitations:

Top

Safe recovery of your work after a save depends on the amount of available disk space. Sufficient disk space must be avialable for the saved crash files, or these files may not be saved correctly.
