Description:

When using imported actors it is necessary to define an "equivalence". An equivalence tells the toolset that the imported actor is the "equivalent" to, or compatible (from an interface perspective) with, another actor.

However, there is a configuration flag on the RTS called "Unrestricted importation" which allows actors to be imported without an equivalence having been set up.

So, if you experience that you are able to execute the model successfully but it fails to execute for your colleague(using a different image), verify the settings of the "unrestricted importation" flag!

To setup an equivalence, follow the following steps:

  1. Open a structure editor on ConfigManager
  2. From the view menu, select Navigator
  3. In the Navigator select the actors ResInst and Resources (middle mouse button)
  4. Place the cursor over the selected actors and using the right mouse button select "Join in new equivalence"

Limitations:

The setting of the importation flag and the use of equivalences only affect the SimulationRTS. There is no checking of equivalences in the TargetRTS
