To use Rational ClearCase (Release 4.1 or later) with Solaris 2.5.1, you must install a number of patches to the operating system. The ClearCase and MultiSite Release Notes lists the full set of required and recommended patches. The ClearCase and MultiSite Release Notes states incorrectly that the kernel patch 103640 (Revision 18 or later) is required. The ClearCase and MultiSite Release Notes should state that kernel patch 103640 (Revision 33) is required. In particular, ClearCase is known not to work with Revision 32 of patch 103640.
