Upgrading some IBM Rational 7.0 products to the 7.0.0.1 release upgrades shared files for numerous other Rational products. Because of this, when more than one of the following products is installed on a system, once one of them is upgraded to v7.0.0.1, all the others must be upgraded to v7.0.0.1 before using any of them.
IBM Rational ClearCase® and ClearCase LT®
IBM Rational ClearQuest®
IBM Rational ProjectConsole™
IBM Rational RequisitePro®
IBM Rational SoDA®
Note: This issue does not effect Rational Test Manager 7.0.0, Rational Robot 7.0.0, Rational Rose® 7.0.0 and Rational Rose RealTime 7.0.0. For enhanced CQTM integration with Rational Robot, Rational Robot does require the 7.0.0.1 Fix Patch.
1. Download 7.0.0.1-RATL-RPJC-WIN-all-FP01.zip to your machine and unzip the contents. The .zip file contains two .msp files (Windows Installer patch files): one for an English locale install and one for a Japanese locale install.
7.0.0.1-RATL-RPJC-WIN-en-US-FP01.msp
7.0.0.1-RATL-RPJC-WIN-ja-JP-FP01.msp
2. Double-click the appropriate .msp file.
3. Popup dialog boxes will guide you through the installation process.
4. Reboot the PC.
In order to remove this FixPack, you must:
1. Uninstall ProjectConsole 7.0.0 by selecting Start > ControlPanel > Add or Remove Programs. From the Add or Remove Programs tool, click IBM Rational ProjectConsole, and then click Remove.
2. Re-install IBM Rational ProjectConsole 7.0.0.
3. Apply all the applicable ProjectConsole TestFixes, iFixes, and FixPacks to bring you up to the level of fixes prior to applying this FixPack.
1. None specific to this FixPack01. (but see iFix01 notes below)

ProjectConsole collections from RequisitePro that include requirement revision information may take significantly longer than the same collections that do not include revisions. |
1. As part of the fix for RATLC00990276, you must use the ProjectConsole Maintenance Tool to connect to the ProjectConsole repository. Connecting to the ProjectConsole repository will update any incomplete time dimension records in the time dimension tables.
Note: When running the RWP and ProjectConsole services using any account other than LocalSystem, you must log on to the ProjectConsole server as a user that belongs to the Administrators group when creating or connecting to a ProjectConsole repository. Creating or connecting to a ProjectConsole repository while logged in as a user that is not part of the Administrators group may result in problems such as "connection denied" errors.
2. RATLC00999104: ProjectConsole source templates and scheduled tasks created using the Designer now include an additional parameter named RequirementWeight. Any objects created after installing iFix01 will have the value automatically. If the source templates and scheduled tasks were created prior to installing the iFix, you need to add the parameter manually.
When configuring the RequirementWeight argument, specify a value of "Revisions". This will cause revision information to be included when ProjectConsole loads the requirements. If "Revisions" is not specified, then the revisions must be loaded from the database for every requirement. This takes considerably longer than loading all revision data when the requirements are loaded.
The RequirementWeight argument accepts a comma delimited list of values. The valid values are [Revisions, Relationships]. One or both of these values can be specified. The Relationships value should be used when the source template accesses relationships during the collection.
