Description:
    This is the Version 5 package for DB2 Installer
    for DB2 for OS/390.  This package runs on Windows NT 4.0
    workstations and (optionally) connects to OS/390 via TCP/IP.

How to install the package:

    We recommend saving the ZIP file in a temporary folder
    to hold the package.  You will need about 6 megabytes of 
    free space for the ZIP file.  FTP the ZIP file to the 
    temporary folder.

    If you are replacing an existing copy of DB2 Installer,
    run the InstallShield Uninstall from the DB2 Installer folder.
    This will remove all the program files, but will leave any
     subsystem definition files and generated JCL that you
    may have already created.  Then, you can reinstall into
    this same directory.

    Next, unzip the file with WINZip or a compatible 
    program. This will result in an InstallShield installable
    CD image requiring about 20 megabytes of disk space.
   Then run setup.exe from Windows NT Explorer, a
    DOS window, or by double-clicking on the setup.exe icon in the 
    temporary folder and follow the prompts.  Install DB2 Installer
    in a new folder (If you are replacing a previous copy of
    DB2 Installer, this would be the same folder as the replaced
    copy)  and delete the temporary folder.  DB2 Installer 
    will require 20 megabytes of free space.
