Description:

    These are the packages for Visual Explain for DB2 for OS/390.  The
    packages run on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95 workstations and connect to 
    DB2 for OS/390.  

Which product the packages are for:       

    ve6nten.exe  - Visual Explain for DB2 for OS/390 Version 6 English. 
                   This package is designed to take advantage 
                   of DB2 Version 6 features, but will work with DB2 Version 5.
                   It runs on the Windows NT platform.
    ve6ntfr.zip  - Visual Explain for DB2 for OS/390 Version 6 French. 
                   It runs on the Windows NT platform.
    ve6ntsp.zip  - Visual Explain for DB2 for OS/390 Version 6 Spanish.
                   It runs on the Windows NT platform.
    ve6ntkr.zip  - Visual Explain for DB2 for OS/390 Version 6 Korean.

                   offered on an AS IS basis without warranty, program services,
                   or support.                              

How to install the package the VE6NTEN.EXE package:

    We recommend saving the self extracting ZIP file in a temporary folder. 
    You will need about 10 megabytes of free space for the ZIP file.  
    Next, unzip the file by executing ve6nten. Change the "Extract to" location
    to the destination location.  The "Recreate subdirectories" button should be 
    selected. Press the Extract button. After extracting the files,  run setup.exe 
    from Windows NT Explorer, a DOS window, or by double-clicking on the setup.exe
    icon in the temporary folder and follow the prompts.  Install Visual Explain
    in a new folder and delete the temporary folder.


How to install the Window NT zip file packages:

    We recommend saving the zip file in a temporary folder. 
    You will need about 10 megabytes of free space for the ZIP file.  
    Next, unzip the file.   After extracting the files,  run setup.exe 
    from Windows NT Explorer, a DOS window, or by double-clicking on the setup.exe 
    icon in the temporary folder and follow the prompts.  Install Visual Explain in 
    a new folder and delete the temporary folder.

How to install the package the VEWIn95 package:

    Simply FTP the vewin95.zip file to a folder and unzip the file.
    To run Visual Explain simply run DSNVE.EXE.  You can also create a shortcut on
    your desktop of DSNVE.EXE to run Visual Explain.
