This ftp directory contains the "IBM Content Manager OnDemand
for OS/390 Client Installation Guide" for the OnDemand
Client level 2.2.1.10.  

Important Notes: 
----------------
  1. The 2.2.1.10 OnDemand Client requires the following
     OnDemand Server Levels:
       Version 1: 1.1.8 or higher
       Version 2: 2.1 with APAR PQ40537 (PTF UQ47633)

  2. The OnDemand Windows 16-bit client is no longer distributed.
     The 16-bit versions of Adobe software are no longer distributed.

  3. The 2.2.1.10 32-bit client Setup.ini file contains a new 
     [S390] section which will automatically set the client
     to attach to the server in short sockets mode, and will
     automatically set up the OD/390 required command-line
     parameters.  Please see the Install Guide (Cn22110.pdf)
     for more information.

     The 2.2.1.9 client fixed a problem installing 'short sockets'
     on an NT machine to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE with Setup.ini.  The
     default setting is to install short sockets to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
     Please see the OD/390 Client Installation Guide for more information.
    
     The 2.2.1.10 client fixes an additional problem installing 'short
     sockets' on an NT machine to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE with Setup.ini
     when run by a user without Admin priviledges.

  4. PC's running Windows NT with Service Pack 6 should upgrade to
     SP 6a.  There are problems with SP6 and winsock calls when a 
     user does not have Local Administrator rights.
