APAR PK71309 LDAP Problem Descriptions The following LDAP problems discovered after 8.4.0.3 have been addressed with this hotfix: 1. The password case sensitivity is not honored. In 8.4.0.3, even if the userid sensitive flag is turned on, it is not honored with the LDAP authentication. 2. The wrong LDAP password can cause the OnDemand server to crash. In 8.4.0.3, when authenticating with an AIX based LDAP server, entering a wrong password can cause the OnDemand server to crash. 3. Incorrect mapped LDAP attribute request can cause the OnDemand Server to crash. In 8.4.0.3, if a requested mapped attribute does not exist when authenticating with an AIX based LDAP server, the OnDemand server may crash. 4. Garbage character at the end of a custom message. In 8.4.0.3, if a custom message file has been supplied, any messages without additional new line at the end will be displayed with extra random (garbage) characters at the end of message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.
