This section, a supplement to the "IBM Integration Test Report for IBM WorkSpace On-Demand", provides detail information on the attributes necessary to enable the following applications to work as network applications within a WorkSpace On-Demand (WSOD) environment:
A download link is provided to permit the retrieving of a zip file containing example files capable of creating the applications defined within this section. Note: There are fields within the command files, contained within the zip file, that are environment specific and should be altered prior to executing the command file(s).

Once the applications are defined they must be assigned to the "RPLGROUP", or to individual users as required.
If APPC is to be used as a protocol between the DB2 CAE client and
the database on a server, this application requires an additional network
resource to be defined. In this case, the
DB2 client will call APPC specific modules from CMLIB. This requires
that the IBM Communications Server OS/2 Access Feature Version 5.0 be
installed on the same IBM WorkSpace On-Demand client as DB2 CAE. In addition to the
network resource, additional directories must be added to the LIBPATH
parameter for this application.

Notes:
Once the applications are defined they must be assigned to the "RPLGROUP", or to individual users as required.
When defining a IBM WorkSpace On-Demand application, there is a limitation of 119 characters for the "Command" parameter. In the Access Feature's Information application there is a requirement for more than 119 characters.
A workaround for the 119 character limitation is to define a command file
to pass the required parameters to the application. The CMINFO.CMD file
used in this application follows:
