Net.Data Reference Guide

Required Software

To install and run Net.Data for OS/390, you require all of the following software:

• Language Environment/370 Version 1.5 with PTFs UN88194, UN88461, UN87133, and UN88416

• RACF Version 2.1 or an equivalent security product with necessary support

• One of the following operating system products:
  • MVS/ESA Version 5.2.2 with OpenEdition MVS System Services 1.1.0
  • MVS/ESA Version 5.2.2 with OpenEdition MVS System Services 1.2.0
  • MVS/ESA Version 5.2.2 with OpenEdition MVS System Services 1.3.0
  • OS/390 Release 1 or higher

• One of the following server products:
  • Internet Connection Secure Server for OS/390 Version 2 or higher
  • Internet Connection Server for MVS/ESA Version 1.1

• One of the following database products:
  • DB2 for OS/390 Version 5
  • DB2 for MVS/ESA Version 4
