You can migrate a Derby, version 10 database to a DB2
Universal Database™ database using open connections in the Database Explorer.
Prerequisite:- An open Derby Version 10 connection
- An open connection to DB2 Universal Database for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®,
version 8 or later.
To migrate a Derby database to DB2 Universal Database:
- In the Database Explorer, right-click a database and select Migrate to
open the Migrate Database wizard.
- Specify the appropriate options, and then click Finish .
The migration results are displayed in the Data Output view.
Note: You
can also migrate a Derby database to another Derby database by using a Derby
connection.
