The corrective service files in this directory are of the form

Uxxxxxx.tar.Z

This means that they are compressed and tar'ed.  To use these 
files, perform the following steps:

1) download the file to directory   /var/spool/sw   in binary mode
2) uncompress Uxxxxxx.tar.Z
3) tar -xvf Uxxxxxx.tar

Now you will need to use swinstall to install the resulting output 
file, which is in the form

hp-Uxxxxxx.v10

The easiest way to do this is to use the GUI front-end to swinstall, 
and in the box which says 'source depot path',  put the path and 
file name, i.e.

/var/spool/sw/hp-Uxxxxxx.v10
