Readme file regarding the file "ivodbc.lic" Problem: When customers want to Export the Organizer sections to a text file in Organizer 97 GS for Macintosh, they receive an error message indicating that "The evaluation period for this Text ODBC driver has expired." And they should "Please call INTERSOLV to obtain a production version of this Text ODBC driver." Solution: A new license file is needed to replace the expired license file. The new ivodbc.lic can be downloaded at ftp.support.lotus.com/pub/desktop/Organizer/mac/misc and the file to download is ivodbc.lic Instructions to replace the file in question. Step 1: User will need to Quit any open program, including Organizer 97 GS for Mac Step 2: User will need to delete the existing ivodbc.lic file The file can be found in the Preferences folder located in the System Folder directory. Step 3: After deleting the file ivodbc.lic, move the ivodbc.lic file that was just downloaded into the Preferences folder. Step 4: Restart the system Step 5: After restarting the system, launch Organizer 97 GS for Macintosh and the user should be able to Export/Import.
