How to install the French menus in 123 release 5.0, in order to be able to use French
macros in a foreign language release of 123 ?

In your directory X:\123W5\PROGRAMS, you have 3 files that manage the classic, wysiwyg
menus & dialog boxes which are :

L1WTXT1.RI
WYSIWYG.RI
L1TXLATE.RI
 
In order to change the menus to French, you have to copy & rename the Frecnah files with 
the names mentioned above. 

MENUFR.EXE contains the 3 necessary files to convert the menus to French.

How to convert the menus to French ?

1- GIVE ANOTHER NAME TO YOUR ORIGINAL FILES IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO GET BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL
LANGUAGE (Although those files are also located on your disks, disk 7 or 8 of 123 5.0)

REN L1WTXT1.RI L1WTXT1.BAK
REN WYSIWYG.RI WYSIWYG.BAK
REN L1TXLATE.RI L1TXLATE.BAK

2- Launch MENUFR.EXE to decompress the 3 files for the French menus, that are :
L1WFRN.RI
WYSIWYGN.RI
L1TXLATN.RI

3- FROM YOUR INITIAL LANGUAGE TO FRENCH :

REN L1WFRN.RI L1WTXT1.RI
REN WYSIWYGN.RI WYSIWYG.RI
REN L1TXLATN.RI L1TXLATE.RI 

FROM FRENCH TO YOUR INITIAL LANGUAGE :

REN L1WTXT1.BAK L1WTXT1.RI  
REN WYSIWYG.BAK WYSIWYG.RI
REN L1TXLATN.BAK L1TXLATE.RI
