Directory information from a cc:Mail Post Office. MBLink IDS transfers

Microsoft Mail for PC LANs or MHS. Remote MBLink IDS systems also extract
directories from these mail systems and send them to a MBLink IDS cc:Mail

HoloGate:First Class/UUCP Gateway
A UUCP Gateway for FirstClass e-mail systems

Features:

HoloGate allows FirstClass Systems to connect to a UUCP provider to receive
Internet e-mail and USENET news. In the very near future, HoloGate will
also serve as a gateway to work with CE Software's QuickMail and for
Microsoft Mail. HoloGate is easy to use and can be installed in a matter
of minutes.

- UUCP Protocol "g" & "G": The standard protocols for UUCP. HoloGate
provides support for the maximum packet and window size.
- UUCP Protocol "i" & "j": The most efficient UUCP protocols provide
simultaneous, bidirectional transfers without file transfer start-up delays.
- USENET Newsgroups: Accepts and sends news in the following formats:
	Unbatched - Basic connectivity
Batched - Dramatically improves disk usage and reduces transfer time
Compressed - Typically doubles transfer rate
- Conference Threading: Places related USENET articles into the same
   thread
- Mail Address Aliasing: Allows an Internet address to be associated with
   any mailbox
- HoloUUCP and HoloGate support the "E" command. The "E" command often
makes it unnecessary to send an "X" file. This can reduce the number of
files transferred by half for mail and news.
- Enclosure support: Automatic support for the two most popular Macintosh
   enclosure formats: BINHEX and uuencoded-AppleSingle.
- Powerful, Easy-to-Use Scheduler: The scheduler allows you to specify
calling schedules based upon the day of the week. It allows you to set up
schedules for weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings.
- Free Upgrades for 6 months: Upgrades are avilable via e-mail and
modem. Planned upgrades will allow priority scheduling, which will allow
you to schedule conference connections independently of e-mail
connections. Future versions will also support MIME.

CIS:Link/pro
The cc:Mail Gateway to CompuServe Mail and forums

Product Description

CIS:Link/pro enables every cc:Mail user to access all E-Mail services
available on CompuServe, such as X.400, MCI, MHS, fax, telex and the
Internet. It will dramatically cut your telephone cost by using CompuServe
as a messaging backbone. All that is possible without using the CIS Mail
hub and thus without surcharge or difficult administration. With CIS:Link,
CompuServe is presented as a single post office. Addressing messages to
users reachable via CompuServe is a snap! For example, you can send a
message to "INTERNET:person@acme.com". Or simply to "Larry Hopeful
71333,2213". No difficult translations. All cc:Mail specific features
like multiple attachments, receipts or delivery notifications are
supported or converted to the next best equivalent. All you cc:Mail users
can be reached over this single ID by simply passing the recipient's full
name.

CIS:Link's routing connects cc:Mail post offices through CompuServe.
Without loss of features! Confidentiality of your messages is secured by
optional hardware encryption. CIS:Link automatically compresses all
outgoing messages to ensure maximum efficiency.

Always wanted to monitor your favorite CompuServe forums directly from your
cc:Mail? CIS:Link/pro can synchronize any CompuServe sections with any
cc:Mail address, and it displays these messages as if they were sent from
just another cc:Mail user. All cc:Mail users on your network can reply to
forum messages or post new messages on any CompuServe forum you specify.

CIS:Link/pro can even download files from CompuServe file libraries. If
you know how to reply to a cc:Mail message you can download files from
CompuServe. That is very easy as well. CIS:Link/pro sends a list of all
available files to e.g. bulletin board. CIS:Link/pro even includes a
scripting facility to access information on CompuServe which is not
accessible on message forums. Since the script language is similar to
OzCIS you can user the hundreds of scripts which are available for this
application.

CIS:Link/pro can run under the cc:Mail Router and does not require a
dedicated PC.

RMX - Retarus Mail Exchange
Low cost - high tech mail routing

Description:
RMX is an alternative way of connecting cc:Mail post offices. It supports
native ISDN, async modems and LAN connections. RMX is very easy to use and
configure while offering high-speed transfer rates.

The ISDN support works with all CAPI (Common ISDN API) compliant adapters.
RMX will transfer messages at a rate of up to 7900 Bytes per second. For
asynchronous connections RMX supports 16550 ports and INT14 drivers. By
using a proprietary protacol similar to Z-Modem RMX achieves high
throughput and can automatically reestablish broken connections without
sending the complete message again. The LAN transfer is used to connect
two or more post offices residing on the same network. All supported
connection methods can be active on a single PC running RMX. For example,
a single PC cccan accept modem and ISDN calls and transfer messages between
multiple post offices on the LAN. RMX also supports scheduling and
executiomn of programs for running backup procedures, automatic reclaims
and other automated tasks. RMX simultaneously supports MS-Mail and cc:mail
on the same PC. RMX is a good choice for cc:mail installations which
cannot afford cc:Mail Router but want to use cc:Mail or want to use ISDN as

Soft-Switch Directory Synchronization/cc:Mail
Directory Synchronization for cc:Mail

Product Description

Directory Synchronization/cc:Mail, along with Directory Synchronization
Central or EMX and other Soft-Switch products, synchronizes electronic
mail directories across a Soft-Switch enterprise mail network. Directory
Synchronization/cc:Mail executes in an MSDOS system connected to the LAN
where the cc:Mail Post Office is resident. It participates in the
enterprise directory as a client in a specific Soft-Switch directory
management domain and communicates to the directory synchronization server
using the Soft-Switch cc:Mail Gateway.

Directory Synchronization/cc:Mail exchanges directory information between
cc:Mail's directory and the Soft-Switch Names Directory. It accomplishes
this by maintaining a shadow database of the enterprise mail network's
subscriber information and, on a configurable basis, transmitting and
receiving update transactions through the electronic mail network. In this
way, subscriber information initially entered into the cc:Mail directory is
propagated throughout the enterprise directory. Similarly, subscriber
information from the enterprise directory is propagated to Directory
Synchronization/cc:Mail, which updates the cc:Mail directory automatically.

In a Soft-Switch directory management domain, information from
participating directories is synchronized with other participating
directories.  Directory Synchronization Clients are available for DEC DDS;
Wang OFFICE; IBM's CallUp, EAB for OV/MVS, AS/400 and PROFS; Lotus
Development Corporation's Lotus Notes and cc:Mail, and Microsoft's
Microsoft Mail for PC Networks. Clients for Banyan's StreetTalk Directory
Assistance, Fisher International's EMC2TAO, and H&W's SYSM will become
available at various times during 1993.

Hardware Requirements:
IBM PC/AT or 100% compatible with 80286 CPU
	640K RAM and attached monitor
1Megabyte of disk space plus 1 Megabyte per 300 entries (cc:Mail or
foreign)

cc:Mail v3.21 or later (without ADE for single Post Office
synchronization, with ADE for multiple Post Office synchronization)
	 cc:Mail Import/Export v3.21 or later.

such as easy scripting for MCI Mail Global Access, extended ASCII and file
merging. TFS supports and handles all the address formats provided by MCI
Mail. A message sent to multiple addresses which are reached through MCI
Mail, will be merged to one message, and thereby cut down on the connect
time. Nicknames are available to avoid address limitations in cc:Mail.
Receipts, when asked for, are given when the mail leaves the post office.
Automatic alarm of undeliverable messages and receipts from MCI Mail are
also supported. MCI Mail handling optionscan also be used from cc:mail.
Charge codes can be setup so that a cc:Mail user must have access to MCI
Mail in a privilege table controlled in TFS, the size of file attachments
can also be controlled.

TFS can be used in different ways:
	1. Native access to cc:Mails database using VIM
	2. Together with cc:Mail Import/Export 3.20

The program and manual are in English.

Product Description:

TOPCALL FAX for cc:Mail brings the power of enterprise faxing to the
desktop. With it, cc:Mail users can send and receive fax and telex
messages using their familiar cc:Mail interface. FAX for cc:Mail links the
advanced-feature TOPCALL TITAN enterprise fax server with the cc:Mail
network giving each user access to a wide range of TOPCALL TITAN
functions. These include:

* Transparent sending and receiving of FAXes throught the cc:Mail
user interface
* Directory services integrated with cc:Mail

Message Addressing
cc:Mail users can easily send FAX and telex messages along with their
normal electronic mail. TOPCALL TITAN server is represented by a cc:Mail
Domain Name, e.g. @TOPCALL. A cc:Mail user then simply type in the
delivery number with the recipients name it will be used for filling out
the FAX cover sheet. Sending options (e.g. Cover Sheet, priority, delayed
transmission, resolution, etc.) can be specified on a message basis or can
default based on the sender's profile.

Compound Documents
FAX messages can consist of text, graphics, binary files, hardcopy
(scanned-in using TOPCALL TITAN), boilerplate materials from the server and
Windos print files. Once composed a message can be previewed, including
all attachments, to verify its appearance to the intended recipient.
Binary attachments are automatically converted to FAX format as they are
transmitted by FAX for cc:Mail.

Inbound FAX
Each cc:Mail users is assigned his own DID (Direct Inward Dial) number.
DID's are then associated with cc:Mail user ids and FAXes sent to the
TOPCALL TITAN server are routed to the appropriate cc:Mail user. This
provides enhanced security, confidentiality and delivery speed to the FAX
network.

TOPCALL Corporation
TOPCALL Corporation delivers production-level FAX solutions to the

XiLink (MHS-VMSMail Link)
Gateway to DEC ALL-IN-1 and VMSmail

Product Description

XiLink is an economical software gateway between cc:Mail and VAX-based
E-mail applications. It seamlessly integrates LAN and stand-alone PC-based
cc:Mail with DEC VMSmail. On the VAX side, XiLink interfaces directly with
VMSmail, thereby connecting to DEC ALL-IN-1 and Pathworks PCSA Mail and
also to third party VMSmail-based products.

On the PC side, XiLink connects through MHS to the cc:Mail Router (formerly
cc:Mail Gateway) MHSlink feature as well as to any other MHS applications
that may be present. If connecting to cc:Mail only, XiLink may be
configured to bypass MHS and connect directly to either cc:Mail Gateway
(through SMFLINK) or cc:Mail Import/Export. The XiLink LAN edition is
typically installed on a dedicated LAN workstation connecting to a VAX side
gateway node. The XiLink Personal edition is installed on a stand-alone PC
or laptop connecting to the VAX via modem. XiLink operates with, but does
not require, DEC Message Router, PCSA, or DECnet.

Zoomit VINES
cc:Mail Gateway with Directory Synchronization

Product Description:

ZOOMIT's cc:Mail/VINES Gateway lets Novell or VINES cc:Mail users and VINES
Mail users, whether on the same LAN or not, exchange e-mail quickly and
conveniently. It is actually composed of two parts:
	- a messaging gateway that converts messages from one system's
format to the other as it delivers them to their destination.
	- a directory synchronization gateway that ensures that cc:Mail
users will automatically find accurate and up-to-date listings of VINES
Mail users in their cc:mail directory, just as VINES mail users will find
cc:Mail users listed in their STDA.

In each case, then, the complexities of sending a message between mail
systems are transparent to the end-users. They simply select the person
they want to write to from their native mail system directory, compose a
message, and send it as they would for a local user.

Hardware Requirements:
Depending on the configuration chosen a gateway PC may be required. The
gateway PC should be a 386, or better, may require a modem and one or two
network interface cards.

Software Requirements:
Depending on the configuration chosen there may be a requirement for an
additional copy of cc:Mail Remote Post Office software and/or Automatic
Directory Exchange, and/or cc:Mail Router.

Pricing Information:
Base price is $5,000.00 plus $10.00 per user
