After unzipping the archive you should have the following files in a temporary folder on your workstation: README.TXT - This file LMAC.XMI - An XMIT format dump of the load module Installation instructions ------------------------- 1) Copy LMAC.XMI to your MVS system as 'prefix.LMAC.XMIT'. - Whatever file transfer method you use (such as FTP or PCOMM SEND), the file must be transferred in binary mode. - 'prefix.LMAC.XMIT' *must* be a fixed 80 data set. - If you use FTP, preallocate the temporary data set 'prefix.LMAC.XMIT'. 1 cylinder of disk space should be sufficient. 2) On MVS, type the following TSO command to create 'prefix.LMAC.LOAD': RECEIVE INDA('prefix.LMAC.XMIT') 3) To invoke the program, enter ISPF and type TSO CALL LMAC(LMAC) (or the appropriate call statement if you copy the load module somewhere else).
