Mapping from input to output elements

Use the Graphical Data Mapping editor to map from input to output elements.

To create the mappings between elements in a graphical data map, complete the following tasks:

  1. If you did not select the input and output objects when you created the graphical data map, add them now. See Adding input and output objects
  2. Add the connections between the input and output objects, as described in Adding connections.
  3. Create the transforms, as described in Specifying a transform. If the transform that you have selected is a type that is part of a nested transform (for example, Local map, Join, If ), you must enter into that nested map and complete the transformation in it.
  4. Set the properties for the transforms (for example, Condition, Cardinality, or Order).
