You can install IBM® WebSphere® Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare by using the installation
wizard in console mode on Windows and Linux.
Complete the following steps to install IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare by using the console mode
on Windows and Linux. If you encounter any problems during
the installation process, you can view the installation log MBHealthcare_install.log.
- Type the following command on a command line to run a console
install:
On Windows,
use:install.exe -i console
On Linux,
use:install.bin -i console
- When the console installer starts, continue with the installation
process by working through the on-screen instructions.
If
you have only one of either
WebSphere Message Broker or
WebSphere Message
Broker Toolkit installed, use a custom
installation to choose which components to enable. The following
IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare plug-ins are enabled for
the specified products:
- To install the MedicalDeviceInput node
in WebSphere Message Broker, select Message
Broker Runtime.
- To install the built-in healthcare patterns, the tooling and configurable services editor for the MedicalDeviceInput node, and
the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare
information center in the WebSphere Message
Broker Toolkit, select Message
Broker Toolkit.
- The Healthcare Operational Monitoring view and the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare
information center are installed automatically
in WebSphere Message Broker Explorer.
You can select the location of the
WebSphere Message
Broker Toolkit that you want to extend
for
IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare:
On Windows,
the default directory is C:\Program Files\IBM\toolkit
folder
On Linux,
the default directory is /opt/IBM/toolkit folder
where
toolkit folder is
WMBT800 when
you are using
WebSphere Message Broker Version 8.0.
You
can select the location in which to install
IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare:
On Windows,
the default installation directory is C:\Program Files\IBM\MBHealthcare
On Linux,
the default installation directory is /opt/IBM/MBHealthcare
- When the installation has finished, complete the post-installation
steps that are described on the final panel. For more
information, see Completing post-installation steps. When you have
completed the post-installation steps, click Done to
close the installer.
- Check the installation log MBHealthcare_install.log to
confirm that the product has installed successfully, or to determine
the cause of any errors. The installation log is located
in the installation directory.
