Deleting a Message Broker project
A Message Broker project is the container in which you create and maintain all the resources associated with one or more message flows. These resources are created as files, and are displayed in the project in the Broker Development view. If you do not want to retain a Message Broker project, you can delete it.
Before you start:
- The instructions in this topic assume that you have already created a Message Broker project, as described in Creating a Message Broker project.
- Read the concept topic about Message Broker projects
When you delete a Message Broker project in the WebSphere® Message Broker Toolkit, you can choose to delete the project and its resources. If you are using a shared repository, the repository might retain a copy of a deleted resource.
To delete a Message Broker project, complete the following steps.
If you maintain resources in a shared repository, a copy is retained in that repository. You can follow the instructions provided by the repository supplier to retrieve the resource, if required.
If you are using the local drive or a shared drive to store your resources, no copy of the resource is retained. Be careful to select the correct resource when you complete this task.
