The CreateFirstChildFromBitStream method creates as the first child a new NBElement and its hierarchy which is populated using the given BitStream, Parser, encoding, ccsid, messageSet, messageType and messageFormat.

public NBElement CreateFirstChildFromBitStream( byte[] bitStream, string parserName, int encoding, int ccsid, string messageSet, string messageType, string messageFormat )
Public Function CreateFirstChildFromBitStream ( _ bitStream As Byte(), _ parserName As String, _ encoding As Integer, _ ccsid As Integer, _ messageSet As String, _ messageType As String, _ messageFormat As String _ ) As NBElement

- bitStream (array<Byte>[]()[][])
- The bit stream to be parsed and added to the element tree.
- parserName (String)
- The name of the parser class to use to parse the bit stream.
Remarks
The same parser must be used to parse the whole bit stream.
- encoding (Int32)
- The encoding to use when parsing the bit stream.
Remarks
A special value of 0 may be supplied to indicate that the queue manager's encoding should be used.
- ccsid (Int32)
- The coded character set identifier to use when parsing the bit stream.
Remarks
This parameter is mandatory. A special value of 0 may be supplied to indicate that the queue manager's ccsid should be used.
- messageSet (String)
- The message set definition used to create the element tree from the bit stream.
Remarks
A value of null will cause this parameter to be ignored.
- messageType (String)
- The message type definition used to create the element tree from the bit stream.
Remarks
A value of null will cause this parameter to be ignored.
- messageFormat (String)
- The message format definition used to create the element tree from the bit stream.
Remarks
A value of null will cause this parameter to be ignored.

The NBElement which is created.
