JMS Nodes sample

The JMS Nodes sample is a message flow sample application that shows how you can use JMSInput nodes as a Java Message Service (JMS) consumer, and JMSOutput nodes as a JMS producer to an external JMS provider. The JMS nodes can be used in both publish/subscribe and point-to-point messaging. For more information about JMS, see the WebSphere Message Broker documentation.

The sample uses WebSphere MQ as the JMS provider.

NOTE: In WebSphere Message Broker Version 8.0 and later, message model schema files contained in libraries are the preferred way to model messages for most data formats, including the new DFDL domain. Message sets continue to be supported, and are required if you use the MRM or IDOC domains. You can continue to import and deploy message sets for use in message flows. However, if you need to create one or more message sets, message definitions, or message categories when using this sample, you must first enable message set development in the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit. For more information, see Enabling message set development in WebSphere Message Broker Version 8.0 in the WebSphere Message Broker documentation.

When you have finished with the sample you must close and stop any running IPSubscriber instances. You must also stop the JMSGateway and JMSInput_Publication message flows by using the Brokers view. You must then stop and restart the MB8QMGR by using the Brokers view. You can then remove the samples from the broker by using one of the following links:
