Comparing the performance of message flows in an application

You can compare the performance of message flows in an application to identify the flows that might benefit from tuning, and to find out where any specific performance problems might exist.

You can use the WebSphere® Message Broker Explorer to display accounting and statistics data for your brokers, execution groups, and message flows. You can use this data to compare the performance of the message flows in an application, enabling you to identify any flows that might have reduced performance and which might benefit from tuning. For more information about the statistical information that you can use to understand the performance of your message flows, see Viewing accounting and statistics data in the WebSphere Message Broker Explorer. For information about the steps that you can take to optimize the performance of the flows, see Identifying the cause of a slow message flow.

For more information about improving the performance of your message flows, see Tuning message flow performance, and for information about solving specific performance issues, see Troubleshooting performance problems.
