You should consult your Solaris documentation
for exact details of how to mount a CD on your system.
Log on as root.
Enter the following command to check if the Volume Manager
is running on your system: /usr/bin/ps
-ef | /bin/grep vold. If the Volume Manager
is running, the CD is mounted on /cdrom/wmqimbsol automatically.
Otherwise, run the following commands to mount the CD: mkdir -p /cdrom/wmqi and mount
-F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/cdrom device/cdrom/wmqi,
where cdrom device is the CD-ROM location, for example c1t2d0s0.
The following command can be used to determine where your CD-ROM is located: iostat
-En. Alternatively, use the volcheck command
to automount a CD-ROM device.
