Adding a one-sided looped assignment mapping

A one-sided looped assignment mapping allows you to specify a value to be mapped to an [All] node on the target side. The following steps show you how to create a one-sided looped assignment mapping.

  1. Select the [All] node on the target side and right-click it.
  2. Select Create One-sided Mapping from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the dialog that appears, specify the number of instances to which you want to map. The maximum number of instances to which you can map is the cardinality of the selected field.
  4. In the Message Flow Mapping editor Overview, the word undefined appears in the Target Value column. Click this Target Value and then click the box that appears on the right side of this value.
  5. The Compose Mapping Expression editor appears and you can assign the value that you want to use for the target. Using this loop, the same target value is set for all specified instances.
  6. Click OK to close the Compose Mapping Expression editor. The value that you have set for the target now appears in the Target Value column.
  7. Save the mapping resource.
