This is part of the larger task of creating a User Name Server on z/OS.
Before you start
In the previous step, mqsicreateusernameserver copied the file mqsicompcif to the root directory of your User Name Server. Now edit mqsicompcif and update the keys to match your environment. Use the information you supplied in the Customization Input File checklist (Customization planning checklist for z/OS) to complete this file. Refer to Example Customization Input File (mqsicompcif) for an example mqsicompcif file.
cd /var/wmqi/MQP1UNS oedit mqsicompcif
Ensure that the single quotes (' ') are included.
All environment variables need to be made explicit in mqscompcif. For example, do not use $JAVAHOME; explicitly write the full path of the Java home directory. This is because ENVFILE is parsed by BPXBATCH before the shell environment for the started task has been created, and BPXBATCH does not recognize the use of $ to indicate environment variables.
