Enabling breakpoints

Before you start

Complete the following tasks:

In the Flow Debug perspective, you can enable any breakpoints that are currently disabled. The following two symbols identify disabled breakpoints:

Disabled global breakpoint identifies a disabled breakpoint that applies to all instances of a message flow.
Disabled local breakpoint identifies a disabled breakpoint that is restricted to one or more specific instances of a message flow.

To enable breakpoints:

  1. Switch to the Flow Debug perspective.
  2. In the Flow Breakpoints view, select one or more disabled breakpoints that you want to enable.
  3. Right-click the selected breakpoints then click Enable. The breakpoints are enabled in all instances of the message flow where they are set.
  4. Optional: You can also enable a single breakpoint by right-clicking on it then clicking Properties. Then select the Enabled checkbox and click OK. The breakpoint is enabled in all instances of the message flow where it is set.

When you enable a breakpoint, the breakpoint symbol changes to one of the following two symbols:

Enabled global breakpoint identifies an enabled breakpoint that applies to all instances of a message flow.
Enabled local breakpoint identifies an enabled breakpoint that is restricted to one or more specific instances of a message flow.
