Before you start:
Modify the Configuration Manager on Windows platforms only, using the command line. The Configuration Manager can only be modified on the system where the Configuration Manager component is installed.
The following steps show you how to modify the Configuration Manager.
mqsichangeconfigmgr <<-i ServiceUserID> -a ServicePassword>
<-p DatabasePassword> <-s UserNameServerQueueManagerName>
<-d SecurityDomainName> <-j MaxJVMHeapSize> <-l 0 | 1 | 2>
mqsichangeconfigmgr -s WBRK_UNS_QM
If you cannot change a property using mqsichangeconfigmgr, delete the Configuration Manager and then create a new one, with the new properties. Creating a new Configuration Manager does not cause any loss of data, so long as the previous Configuration Manager's database tables were not deleted (for example by specifying the -n and -w parameters on mqsideleteconfigmgr). The configuration repository is preserved if you use the correct form of the mqsideleteconfigmgr command.
