TLOG messaging standard

In the retail industry, a TLOG is the Point of Sale (POS) Transaction Log.

The TLOG is a complete, detailed record of everything that occurs at the Point of Sale (POS) terminal, including events that are not directly related to a sales transaction. Typically, the precise TLOG record format is unique to a given POS application, such as Toshiba Commerce (ex-IBM) 4690.

Raw TLOG messages can be modeled using either DFDL or MRM Tagged/Delimited String Format (TDS).

Predefined DFDL schemas for TLOG are available from the GitHub DFDLSchemas website (https://github.com/DFDLSchemas).

Predefined TLOG message sets are available as part of the following TLOG Processor samples:

You can view information about samples only when you use the information center that is integrated with the WebSphere® Message Broker Toolkit or the online information center. You can run samples only when you use the information center that is integrated with the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit.
