Mapping array elements using a graphical data map

The Graphical Data Mapping editor provides transforms that enable you to iterate over an array of elements, choose the indices of the elements in the array that you want to transform, and place the result in an output array or single element.

To map arrays in the Graphical Data Mapping editor:
  1. Drag your mouse between the input and output elements to create a mapping. A default transform is assigned. If you have more than one input element:
    1. Drag your mouse from the second input element to the transform.
    2. Repeat for each input element. The transform type changes to the default type for multiple input elements.

  2. If you want to change the transform type, click the arrow next to the transform and select a new transform from the displayed list.
  3. Click the transform, and click the Properties view.
  4. Select the indices of the elements that you want to transform by setting the input and output array indices on the Cardinality page. See Selecting the indices of input and output array elements for examples. For the Join transform, add a boolean expression to specify the matching criteria for joining or filtering input items.
  5. On the Condition page, set a processing condition, if required. The transform runs only if the condition is fulfilled.
  6. If you have multiple input elements, click Order to specify the order in which the input elements are to be processed.
