Running the NumCompute sample

Before you can run this sample, you must set up the sample, see Setting up the User-defined Extension sample.

Input message

To view the XML input message, see NumCompute input message.

Run the sample

  1. In the Broker Development view, expand UDESampleMessageFlowProject. Under Flow Tests double-click UDESampleNumComputeMessage.mbtest to open the file in the Test Client.
  2. Click Enqueue, click Send Message. The input message is sent to the UDESAMPLE.NUMCOMPUTE.IN queue. The message flow transforms the message by using the NumComputeNode and routes it to the UDESAMPLE.NUMCOMPUTE.OUT queue.
  3. In the Test Client, click Dequeue.
  4. Click Get Message to read a message from the UDESAMPLE.NUMCOMPUTE.OUT queue.
  5. Compare the contents with the expected output message.

Output message

If the sample runs successfully, an XML output message is displayed on the UDESAMPLE.NUMCOMPUTE.OUT queue. To view the XML output message, see NumCompute output message.
