Cleaning up Oracle
These instructions assume that you are using an Oracle database and guide you through the following tasks:
- Remove the tables called DEPARTMENT and EMPLOYEE that are used by the Simplified Database Routing sample
- Remove the JDBC definition for the database
To remove the database table and the JDBC definition:
- In a command window enter the following command:
sqlplus <uid>/<password>
DROP TABLE DEPARTMENT;
DROP TABLE EMPLOYEE;
- Remove the JDBC definition SIMPLERROUTEDB from the broker.
Open a command console window in which you can run WebSphere Message Broker commands,
and enter the following commands:
mqsistart MB8BROKER
mqsideleteconfigurableservice MB8BROKER -c JDBCProviders -o SIMPLERROUTEDB
