Use this page to view the configuration properties of a service integration bus. Service integration buses support applications using message-based and service-oriented architectures. A bus is a group of interconnected servers and clusters, called bus members. Applications connect to a bus at one of the messaging engines associated with its bus members.

The transport chain used for communication between the messaging engines in this bus. The default value is InboundBasicMessaging.
The transport chain corresponds to one of the transport chains defined in the server's messaging engine inbound transports setting. All servers automatically have a number of transport chains defined to them; it is also possible to create new transport chains.
The option to retain messages on a deleted message point. If this option is selected, messages are retained at a system exception destination; otherwise, they are discarded.
