Cleanup service details

On this panel, you can change settings for a new or existing cleanup job for the Business Flow Manager or Human Task Manager on a particular cluster or server.

To view this administrative console page, click Servers > Clusters > cluster_name or Servers > Application servers > server_name, then under Business Integration, expand Business Process Choreographer, and click either Business Flow Manager or Human Task Manager, then under Additional Properties, click Cleanup Jobs, then either click the name of an existing cleanup job to edit its settings, or click Add to define a new cleanup job.

Add

Click this button to open the details panel to create a new cleanup job for the selected cluster or server.

Delete

Click this button to delete the cleanup jobs that are selected in the table.

Select

This column contains one check box for each cleanup job listed in the table. You can select one or more before clicking Remove.

Order Number

The integers in this column indicate the sequence in which the cleanup jobs will be run, starting with number zero.

Cleanup Job

This column shows the names of all cleanup jobs. To display the details panel for a cleanup job, so that you can change the settings, click the name of the cleanup job.

Templates

This column shows the templates, for which the cleanup job will delete eligible instances.

Specifying the wildcard '*' will cleanup all templates. For cleanup jobs for the Human Task Manager, you can also optionally specify the target namespace in brackets, for example, myTaskTemplate (http://bpc/samples/task/).

States

This column lists the template instance states which qualify it for deletion.

  • For cleanup jobs for the Business Process Manager, states can include any of the following: FAILED, FINISHED, or TERMINATED. An asterisk (*) indicates all these states.
  • For cleanup jobs for the Human Task Manager, the states can also include EXPIRED, FAILED, FINISHED, INACTIVE, or TERMINATED. An asterisk (*) indicates all these states.

Duration until deleted

This column shows when instances become eligible to be deleted. The time is measured from when the instance reached the qualifying state.

When editing or entering the duration, there are separate input fields for minutes, hours, days, months, and years.

Example 0 0 1 0 0 indicates that instances become eligible for deletion one day after they reach a qualifying state.
