Configuring KPI History and Prediction

Use the following procedures to customize the KPI History and Prediction widget.

KPI history

  1. From the KPI History and Prediction widget title bar, click Menu icon and select Configure or Personalize. The configuration options open.
  2. On the KPI tab, Latest version is selected by default. If you want to see all versions of the available business process models, select All versions.
  3. The KPI ranges and KPI target options are enabled by default. If you do not want to see these options on the graph, clear each check box.
  4. Expand a model and select a KPI to display.
  5. Click the History and Prediction tab.
  6. Under KPI History, choose the default display settings for the KPI you selected.
    Time range type
This setting determines the period of time that you see displayed on the graph.
    • Current period: Displays the current KPI time period and the past periods for the duration that you specify. For example, when you choose a Number of past periods of 1 month, the graph displays history for the KPI time period(s) for the current month, up to today.
    • Fixed interval: Displays history for the date range that you select.
    • Last completed period: Displays the previous KPI time period. For example, when you choose a Number of past periods of 1 month, the graph displays history for the entire previous month.
    • Sliding interval: Displays the duration of time that you specify, up to today. For example, when you choose a Number of past periods of 1 month, the graph displays the past 1 month of history, starting from today.
    Time zone
This setting is the time zone for which the KPI is based on. Select a Time zone and Location for daylight saving time.
    Show data points
This setting determines the vertical line intervals (x-axis) of the graph. For example, when you select Monthly, the graph displays x-axis intervals of one month. The data point values available (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and so forth) vary according to the previous values selected.
    Chart height
This setting allows you to adjust the height of the chart. The default value is 425 pixels.
