Logging and tracing Common Event Infrastructure components

You can enable logging and tracing in order to debug problems with an application using Common Event Infrastructure.

About this task

Common Event Infrastructure components use the JSR47 Java™ logging framework, which is available in Common Event Infrastructure server and client environments. For more information about using the logging framework, refer to the WebSphere® Application Server Network Deployment, version 6.1 troubleshooting documentation.

The following table indicates the logger names used by the Common Event Infrastructure components.
