Add a channel

Use the following procedure to add a channel to an application flow.

  1. In the Application Details page, select an application from the drop box and then select Application Flow in the left navigation pane. The Application Flow page appears.
  2. Click Edit. The Application Flow changes to edit mode. Click the New node that appears in the flow screen. The Add Channel to Application dialog appears.
  3. Click the green start node that appears in the flow screen. The Add Channel to Application dialog appears.
  4. Select a channel and then click OK. The new channel appears linked to a node that you can use to add a business service to the flow and to an orange node.
  5. To add another channel, click the New node. The Add Channel to Application dialog appears.
  6. Select another channel and then click OK. The label beneath the New node is updated and a new arrow links it to the existing channel and end node. Another green node appears beneath it that you can use to add another channel.
  7. To edit a channel, double click on the channel node. The Edit Channel dialog appears.
  8. Type in a new name for the channel and then click OK. The Edit Channel dialog closes and the label is updated beneath the channel icon.
  9. To save the application flow in the Fabric repository, click Save. To exit without saving any changes, click Cancel.
