Using this documentation offline

You can create a local information center and populate it with one or more feature sets of plug-ins for the documentation that is also provided in the online WebSphere® Business Process Management information center.

WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus

WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus provide an installation option to create a local information center. To do this, you install a copy of the IBM® User Interface Help System Built on Eclipse, then use the update function to select and install features sets of documentation plug-ins.

You can use an update function of the local information center to check for and install any updates to the documentation plug-ins, and to find and install any new feature sets of plug-ins.

You can run the information center in stand-alone mode as a personal help system, or in information center mode as a documentation server on your intranet.

For information about installing and using a local information center, see the topic Installing the documentation Click this link to go to the topic for WebSphere Process Server. Click this link to go to the topic for WebSphere ESB..

WebSphere Integration Developer

WebSphere Integration Developer contains its own help system that you can use as a local information center.

You can use an update function of the help system to check for and install any updates to the documentation plug-ins, and to find and install any new feature sets of plug-ins.

For information about using the help system, see the topic Overview of administering the help system. For information about installing updates and new documentation plug-ins, see the topic Updating the help system.
