You can uninstall interim fixes and fix packs, collectively
known as maintenance packages.
Before you begin
Before you uninstall the feature pack maintenance packages,
perform the following tasks:
- Identify the IBM® WebSphere® Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service
Bus for z/OS® with feature pack
installation for which you want to uninstall maintenance.
- Obtain authorization to modify the configuration file system.
Procedure
- If you want to remove the feature pack from your WebSphere product, remove
the feature pack widgets from the existing profiles. For information,
refer to Removing feature pack widgets.
- Manually delete the feature pack maintenance files from
the configuration file system. For example:
For WebSphere Enterprise Service
Bus:
cd WESB_HOME
tar -tf name of maintenance tar file| grep -v /$ | xargs rm -v
rmdir -p BusinessSpace/templateData/* 2>/dev/null
For WebSphere Process Server:
cd WPS_HOME
tar -tf name of maintenance tar file| grep -v /$ | xargs rm -v
rmdir -p BusinessSpace/templateData/* 2>/dev/null

- Delete the maintenance .tar file from the working directory
it was copied into during installation. For example:
rm name of maintenance tar file
