As the IT administrator, Bill can explore the WebSphere® Business Services Fabric repository
and grant user access to an application.
Imagine that John, as the owner of the Policy Renewal process,
wants to change a service. To do so, he must check all of the current
applications that use this service. Doing that, he notices that he
is not authorized to change one of the applications. So he sends an
e-mail to Bill, the IT administrator for the WebSphere Business Services Fabric repository.
The following process occurs:
- Bill opens the Business Service Lifecycle Management business
space, finds application that he is looking for, and notices that
John is not one of the authorized users.
- He adds John as one of the authorized users of the application,
which makes John the authorized user to all of the services, policies,
and vocabularies that the application uses.
- Moments later, John receives an email reply from Bill announcing
that the new access has been granted.
- John returns to the Policy Renewal application
and is now able to see the new application and therefore complete
the Policy Renewal process.
