Customizing your view

This topic contains tasks for customizing what you see on the Alerts widget. You can customize an Alerts widget by choosing font colors to differentiate unread alerts from alerts that have been read. Other customization options include setting the number of rows to display on a page, setting the refresh rate, and displaying situation events.

Open Alerts preferences:
  1. From the Alerts title bar, click Menu icon and select Configure or Personalize. The Format tab opens.
You can perform the following tasks from the Format tab.

Selecting the font color for alert text

  1. Click the color icon for Read Default color for alerts that have been read or Unread Default color for alerts that have not been read. The color palette opens.
  2. Select a color and click OK.

Setting the number of rows to display

  1. In the Number of rows to display field, enter the number of rows to be displayed on a page.

Setting the refresh rate

  1. In the Refresh rate field, enter a value (in seconds).

Setting situation events to display

  1. Enable the Display the situation events in the events details window option.
