Query Relationship

Use this page to perform relationship-based instance queries. Each tab represents a different query option.

To view this page in the administrative console, click Integration Applications > Relationship Manager > Relationships next to the relationship services MBean for the server you want to manage > select the radio button next to the relationship name > Query.

To return to the Relationships page click Relationships from the path at the top of the page.

Required security role for this task: When security and role-based authorization are enabled, you must be logged in as a monitor, an operator, a configurator, or an administrator to view this page and perform queries.

Select a query option (All, By ID, By property, or By role) and specify the search criteria to get all or a subset of the instance data for a relationship. The return is the result set of that query and is displayed in table format on the Relationship Instances page. After you have specified the query parameters, you have the following options:

All tab

Select the All tab to retrieve a list of all instances in the relationship. You can select to display all activated, all inactivated, or all activated and inactivated relationship instance data.

Relationship name

Specifies the URL of the relationship. This field is read-only.

Logical state

Select the radio button next to all activated, all inactivated, or all activated and inactivated relationship instance data.

By ID tab

Select the By ID tab to retrieve relationship instances in the range of the starting and ending instance identifiers. If you leave one field blank, the query returns only the single instance. The query returns all of the roles for the instances it finds.

Relationship name

Specifies the URL of the relationship. The field is read-only.

Starting ID

Enter the first instance ID in the range of relationships you want to retrieve.

Ending ID

Enter the last instance ID in the range of relationships you want to retrieve.

By property tab

Select the By property tab to retrieve relationship instances by specific property values.

Relationship name

Specifies the URL of the relationship. This field is read-only.

Property name and type

Enter the property name and type parameters for retrieving relationship instances. Select an option from the drop-down list.

Property value

Enter the value parameter for the property.

By role tab

Select the By role tab to retrieve relationship instances based on a role name, key attribute value, date range during which the role was created or modified, or specific property value.

Relationship name

Specifies the URL of the relationship. The field is read-only.

Role name

Select the URL of the role from the drop-down list.

Role object type

Specifies the URL of the participating business object. This field is read-only.

Key attributes

Specifies the primary key attribute of the business object participating in the role. Enter any single character or string of characters (case-sensitive, numbers included) in the Value field.

From date

Enter the starting date and time for the range of roles to search on.

To date

Enter the ending date and time for the range of roles to search on.

Property name and type

Enter the role property name and type parameters for retrieving relationship instances. Select an option from the drop-down list.

Property value

Enter the value parameter for the specified role property.
