Use this widget to manage the various server-related jobs
associated with your project.
You use the Publishing Server Status widget
with the Publishing Server Manager widget.
In a typical scenario, you might be trying to delete an element in
your review by using the Delete Elements view
in the Publishing Server Manager widget.
When the job is submitted to the server, the standing is tracked in
the job status table in the Publishing Server Status widget.
The
Publishing Server Status widget
includes the following section:
- Job status table
- WebSphere® Business Modeler
Publishing Server reduces
the competition for CPU resources by queuing data-intensive jobs and
running them in sequence. These jobs, and their current standing on
the server, are displayed in the job status table. If the job was
not successful, then a failed job status is reported and a link to
more information is provided.
- To run the job again, click the associated Rerun icon
(
). The problem that led to the job failing
might no longer apply, and the job might finish successfully. Note: You
might try to rerun a successful job when you want to restore a mistakenly
deleted project element.
- To keep the job status table organized, you can delete jobs as
follows:
- To delete individual jobs, click the check box beside the job
and click Delete Job. If the job is pending, it
will not be run. If the job is running, the job is considered complete
and is removed from the table. The next job in the queue is processed.
If you delete a completed job, the job controller removes the job
from the table.
- To delete all of the successfully completed jobs, click the check
box in the header row of the table and click Delete Job. The
pending, running, and failed jobs remain in the table where you can
then delete them individually.
