Updating the help system

You can use the update function of the help system to check for and install any updates to the documentation plug-ins, and to find and install any new feature sets of plug-ins.

Before you begin

To complete the tasks in this section, you must have a help system installed. For more information on installing or updating an existing help system, see the topics devoted to Using this documentation offline.

Installing documentation into the help system requires a working Internet connection to download documentation. Also, the help system installation wizard must have found a compatible help system on your system.

Note: You can use the update function to update your local installation with the latest documentation available for products in the same version of the WebSphere Business Process Management product family (for example, WebSphere Process Server Version 6.2 and WebSphere ESB Version 6.2). If you have a help system from an earlier version of the product (for example, WebSphere Process Server Version 6.1.2), you can add documentation for the newer product version into that help system by changing the bookmarks.xml file to point to the documentation update site for the new product version.
