WebSphere

This information applies to feature pack. To use what is described, you must have installed the optional feature pack Extended Solution Management template

The Extended Solution Management template creates a business space from which you can track the modules in your solution, monitor services, manage timetables for your solution, and manage role-based access for timetables.

The Extended Solution Management template contains widgets from WebSphere® Enterprise Service Bus and WebSphere Process Server and that allow you to create a space for administering modules and other solution artifacts such as timetables, security roles, and service operations.

The template creates a space with four pages: Module Administration, Business Calendars, Security, and Service Monitoring.

The following table lists the widgets in the Module Administration page, for use with WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus:
Widget name Description
Module Browser Lists all the Service Component Architecture (SCA) modules deployed on a cluster and allows you to select one for detailed inspection or administration.
Module Administration Displays inline the contents of the Module Properties, Module Graphical View, Business Calendar Manager, or Security Manager widget, depending on which administrative artifact you choose in the Module Browser widget.
Module Properties and Policies Lists all the promoted properties defined for a module, and displays policy values that are typically stored in WebSphere Service Registry and Repository. You can view and edit the values.
The following table lists the widgets in the Business Calendars page, for use with WebSphere Process Server:
Widget name Description
Business Calendar Manager Provides details for timetables and time intervals, which define available time for your business application.
The following table lists the widgets in the Security page, for use with WebSphere Process Server:

The following table lists the widgets in the Service Monitoring page, for use with WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus:
