When Business Space is displaying the open business space, you can see the pages that the space contains and the name of the space. Beside the space name is a menu icon that you can use to go to another space or to go to the Business Space Manager. If the space does not contain any pages or you are not a viewer or editor of any pages, Business Space does not open the space. Instead, it displays the Business Space Manager so that you can select a different space. Similarly if you close the last page in a space, the space closes and the Business Space Manager displays.
The following screen capture shows a typical open business space.
In the open space, a tab represents each page and you can navigate from one page to another by clicking its tab. The tab for a page also contains the page menu. The page menu contains actions that you can perform on the page. You can use these actions to change the layout of the page, rename the page, and display and copy the link for the page to other applications. You can also use the tab to close the page, which you can restore using the Business Space Manager.
The open space has a palette that you can open to add widgets to a page.
By default, the palette organizes the widgets in categories and uses pages of widgets if there are more widgets than the palette can display. You can use the Search field to filter the widgets so that the palette displays only the widgets that contain the text in their name.
The palette closes after you drop a widget onto a page. You can change this behavior by pinning the palette so that it remains open until you close it. If you want more information about a widget, you can open a help panel. When you hover the cursor over a widget, the help panel displays its description.
