Select Nodes

Use this page to select the nodes to participate in this deployment environment. When needed, you can add more nodes to the deployment environment through the administrative console. The page displays the nodes currently federated to the deployment manager.

To add nodes to the deployment environment, click Select on the row that contains the node to include. The minimum number of nodes required for the topology is indicated in Number of nodes needed.

Parameters displayed in the table

The table displays the following parameters to describe each node.
Select
Click this control to add the node described by the row to the deployment environment.
Node
The name of the node.
Node Mapping
Specifies the name assigned to the node from an imported deployment environment definition. This parameter only has a value when you have loaded an deployment environment definition using Load an external deployment environment definition.
Capability
Specifies the augmentations applied to the profile. Possible values are WebSphere® Application Server (WAS), WebSphere Process Server (WPS), or WebSphere Enterprise Server Bus (WESB) node.
Version
Displays the version of the installed product for the federated profile belonging to the node.
Base Version
Displays the WAS version for the federated profile belonging to the node.
Host
The name of the host on which the node resides. This node must resolve to an IP address for the host.
Number of nodes needed
Displays the minimum number of nodes required to meet the constraints of the pattern for the deployment topology.
Number of selected nodes
Displays the number of nodes currently selected for inclusion in this deployment topology.
