Connection properties for this WSRR definition.

In the administrative console page, to view this page click Service integration > WSRR definitions > definition_name > [Additional properties] Connection properties.

Selects the type of connection for this WSRR definition

The connection type is set when the registry definition is created, and cannot be altered.

If you want modules to use a WSRR Web service application on another server or port number, change the server:port_number values in this URL.

Authentication alias

The alias to be used to authenticate with the WSRR Web service

The authentication alias corresponds to a user name and password that are used for authentication.

You can use the list to select one of the existing WebSphere authentication aliases. Otherwise, you can use the Other, please specify option in the list to type another alias that you later define as a WebSphere authentication alias.

You can list and define WebSphere authentication aliases on the J2EE Connector (J2C) authentication data entries panel - Security > Global security > [Authentication] JAAS Configuration > J2C Authentication data.
