Importing images

You can import images of forms and WebSphere® Business Monitor dashboards so that they are available for other people to see and review.

Before you start, take a screen capture (press PrtSc) of the form or dashboard and save it in one of the following formats:
  • GIF
  • JPG or JPEG
  • PNG

To import an image:

  1. Open the page that contains the Draft Artifacts widget or the Released Artifacts widget.
  2. In the Publisher Navigator view, create the folder structure to hold the image as described below (you must create at least one subfolder, as you cannot import an image directly into the Imported Images directory).
    1. Right-click the imported images folder, and click Create directory.
    2. In the New Directory window, type the name of the folder and click OK. The new folder is now in the imported images tree.
Tip: To delete a folder, use the Publishing Server Manager widget.
  3. Import the image as follows:
    1. Right-click the folder that you want to contain the image and click Import image. The Import Image window opens
    2. Type a descriptive name for the image.
    3. Browse to the image on your local system.
    4. Click OK.
The Publisher Navigator view now contains the image in the folder structure that you created. You might have to expand the imported images folders to see the new image element.
