Use the KPI Manager widget
to work with KPIs directly from a dashboard interface. Using the KPI Manager widget, you can
define, copy, and modify KPIs; view KPI properties; view and create
alerts for KPIs; and configure settings for collecting
history and prediction data.
Getting started using KPI Manager
When you first open
KPI Manager,
you must choose the business process model for which you want to see
KPIs.
- From your Business Space or portlet-based dashboard, open a KPI Manager widget.
- The Model field contains a list of business
process models that you are authorized to view. Select the business
process model for which you want to see KPIs. The KPIs are displayed.
- In the Version field, select Latest (default)
to see a list of current KPIs or select All to
see a list of all KPIs that have been created for the model you selected. The listed is rendered. The KPI Manager displays
the following KPI information by default:
- KPI Name - The title of the KPI. You can
click on the KPI name to see the properties.
- Created - The method of creation for the
KPI. Modeled means the KPI was created at the model level. Dashboard means
the KPI was created using the dashboard.
- Owner - The name of the user who owns the
KPI.
- Type - An aggregate KPI has
a value that is based on the metric and aggregation method you select. An expression KPI has
a value that is based on other KPIs or user defined functions, using
an XPath expression that you define.
- Access - A shared KPI means
that other dashboard users have access to view the KPI. A private KPI
means that the KPI is not shared with other dashboard users.
