Customizing human tasks

You can customize Human Tasks by specifying the task properties to show, specifying the number of rows to display, filtering tasks, specifying properties to sort, and the Business Process Choreographer connection information.

You must have certain user access rights to perform these tasks.
To customize Human Tasks, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Human Tasks title bar, click Menu icon and select Configure or Personalize.
  2. To show or hide task properties, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Show/Hide.
    2. To hide columns, select columns in the Selected list and click the arrow to move the metrics to the Available list.
    3. To show columns, select columns in the Available list and click the arrow to move the metrics to the Selected list.
    4. Click OK to save changes.
  3. To specify the number of rows to display, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Show/Hide.
    2. Specify the number of rows to display.
    3. Click OK to save changes.
  4. To specify the refresh rate, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Show/Hide.
    2. Specify the refresh rate interval in seconds.
    3. Click OK to save changes.
  5. To add a task filter, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Filter, and then click Add.
    2. Select the metric to use for filtering from the list.
    3. Select the operator. The operator list is dynamic, the contents of the list changes based on the metric selected.
    4. Specify the value for the filter and, if required, select Case Sensitive.
    5. Repeat these steps to add additional filters.
    6. Click OK to save changes.
  6. To delete a task filter, complete the following steps:
    1. Click the Delete icon next to the Filter you want to delete.
    2. Click OK to save changes.
  7. To sort the tasks, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Sort.
    2. Select the default sort order (ascending or descending).
    3. Select the columns in the Available list you want to use for sorting and click the arrow to move the columns to the Selected list.
    4. Select a column to be used for default sorting by selecting the column in the Selected list and clicking Default Sort.
    5. Click OK to save changes.
  8. To change the Business Process Choreographer connection information, complete the following steps:
    1. Click Advanced and specify the host name and port number.
    2. Click OK to save changes.
  9. To enable cooperative mode, complete the following steps:
    1. Select Cooperative and then select Enable this widget to interact with other widgets.
    2. Click OK to save changes.
