Setting up business document administrators

It is advisable to set up certain users to be business document administrators. Such users have many privileges and so the users mapped to this role should be selected judiciously.

By default, no-one is mapped to this role and it is not mandatory to map users to this role.

To map users to the business document administrator role take the following steps.

  1. Log on to the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console.
  2. Expand Applications and click on Enterprise Applications.
  3. From the list of applications click BusinessLeaderApp.
  4. Modify the users or groups who are mapped to the roles. There are two entries in the table:
    • Business document user
    • Business document administrator.

    By default all authenticated users are mapped to the business document user role and no-one is mapped to the business document administrator role. To assign a user or group of users to the business document administrator role:

    1. Select the check box in the Select column in the Business Document Administrator row.
    2. Click Look up users or Look up groups.
    3. Browse for the users or groups that you want to be mapped to this role.
  5. Click OK and Save.
