Destinations

Use this page to view and administer destinations. A bus destination is defined as part of a service integration bus and is hosted by one or more locations within the bus. Applications can attach to the destination as producers, consumers, or both to exchange messages.

To view this administrative console page, click Service integration > Service Integration Bus Browser > [Tree Pane] bus_name. Expand the tree view and then click [Tree Pane] Destinations

This page lists all destinations defined for a service integration bus, organized into the following columns:
Identifier
The unique ID assigned to the destination.
Bus
The name of the service integration bus that hosts the destination.
Type
The destination's type (for example, queue or topic space).
Description
An optional description of the destination.
Mediation
The name of the mediation that mediates this destination. Note that destinations do not have to be mediated.

You can browse or change the properties of a destination. Click its name from the Identifier column and the Destination detail page opens, displaying information about the destination. You can also create, delete, mediate, or unmediate a destination by selecting the check box next to destination and clicking the appropriate button.
