Creating a response file using the samples

WebSphere® ESB for z/OS® is shipped with four sample response files that you can use to create a response file that contains all the details of how you want to configure your system.

Before you begin

About this task

You can create a response file that you can use to create your WebSphere ESB configuration. The response file you create is based on one of the following four sample response files:
standAloneProfile.rsp
Create a stand-alone configuration using a Derby™ database.
standAloneProfileDB2.rsp
Create a stand-alone configuration using a DB2® database.
DmgrDB2.rsp
Create a deployment manager server with a network deployment configuration using a DB2® database.
ManagedDB2.rsp
Create a node with a network deployment configuration using a DB2 database.
