If you own a business space, you can share a page with
a user without sharing the entire space with that user.
If you do not share a business space, you are the only
person who can see it and all of the pages that it contains. However,
you can override an unshared space to share individual pages. In this
case, anyone you designate as a viewer or editor of the shared pages
can see (and edit, in the case of editors) these pages. They cannot
see the pages in which you have not designated them as a viewer or
editor.
To share a page with a user:
- If the Business Space Manager is
not open, click Manage Business Spaces. The Business Space Manager lists
the spaces that you have access to.
- Select the business space The
space properties display.
- If Share this Business Space is
selected, clear it.
- Expand the space and click the page. The
page properties display.
- If Share with the following users is
not selected, select it. The page now uses its own viewers
and editors lists.
- From the Viewers menu or Editors menu,
click Add. A
window opens.
- Type the name or partial name into the search field and
click Search.
- From the search results, select the user or group and click OK.
- Click Save.
The user or users in the group can now access the page. They
cannot access the other pages in the space unless you repeat steps
2–7 for those pages.
