This information applies to feature pack. To use what is described, you must have installed the optional feature pack Uninstalling the feature pack from Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®

Use the uninstaller wizard to uninstall IBM® WebSphere® Process Server V6.2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.2 Feature Pack.

Before you begin
You must have a valid installation of the IBM WebSphere Process Server V6.2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.2 Feature Pack.
Procedure
  1. You must manually remove all the widgets from feature packs from the existing profiles. For information, refer to Removing feature pack widgets.
  2. Launch the uninstallation wizard from the install_root\uninstall.wpswesbfep directory, where install_root is the directory where you installed the feature pack, for example:

    C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\ProcServer\uninstall.wpswesbfep.

    • For AIX operating systemFor HP-UX operating systemFor Solaris operating system uninstall.sh
    • For Linux operating system uninstall
    • For Windows operating system uninstall.exe
  3. On the Feature Pack Uninstallation Wizard panel, review the uninstallation information and click Next.
    Note: The uninstallation wizard does not remove the Business Space widgets that you installed when you installed the feature pack. You must manually remove the widgets from existing profiles before you uninstall the feature pack. For information, refer to Removing feature pack widgets.
    The wizard checks the system for running servers. If a running server is found, a warning is displayed stating that the uninstallation cannot continue until servers are stopped by the user. During this process the wizard displays the following message:
    The system is determining the server status...

    If running servers are found, the wizard displays the following message:

    One or more servers are running. Stop the running servers before you continue.
  4. Optional: Stop all running servers. The log file contains the profile name to help you to determine which server is running.
  5. Review the uninstallation summary for correctness. Click Back to change values on previous panels or click Next to begin the uninstallation.
    Note: All the feature pack features are removed. You cannot selectively uninstall features.
  6. View the uninstallation results information and click Finish.
Results
The uninstaller wizard uninstalls the feature pack. If the uninstallation is successful, the following information is displayed:
The following product was uninstalled.
IBM WebSphere Process Server V6.2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.2 Feature Pack install_root
For a partial uninstallation success or a failure, the post-uninstallation panel displays the location of the log file:
  • For AIX operating systemFor HP-UX operating systemFor Linux operating systemFor Solaris operating system install_root/logs/wpswesbfep/uninstall/log.txt
  • For Windows operating system install_root\logs\wpswesbfep\uninstall\log.txt
What to do next
For stacked products, you must reapply the Feature Pack and other maintenance to the remaining products on the stack.
