modifySCAExportJMSBinding command

Use the modifySCAExportJMSBinding command to change the attributes of a JMS export binding. This applies to JMS bindings, WebSphere® MQ JMS bindings, or generic JMS bindings.

Before you begin

The modifySCAExportJMSBinding command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client.

Use the following command to list all the SCA administrative commands.
wsadmin> $AdminTask help SCAAdminCommands
Use the following command to get detailed help on a particular command.
wsadmin> $AdminTask help command_name

Syntax

$AdminTask modifySCAExportJMSBinding { parameters }

Purpose

The modifySCAExportJMSBinding command changes the JNDI name of one or more of the resources associated with a JMS export binding.

modifySCAExportJMSBinding
Target
None.
Result
The following circumstances cause an SCACommandException to be thrown:
  • The module has no binding of the type specified.
  • A resource of an invalid type is specified.
  • A resource is specified that does not exist.

Parameters

moduleName
A mandatory, unmodifiable parameter that specifies the name of the module to which the export binding belongs.
export
A mandatory, unmodifiable parameter that specifies the name of the export.
applicationName
An optional, unmodifiable parameter that specifies the name of the application.
type
A mandatory, unmodifiable parameter that specifies the type of binding: valid values are JMS, MQJMS, or generic.
connectionFactory
An optional parameter that specifies the JNDI name of the connection factory.
connectionFactoryResponse
An optional parameter that specifies the JNDI name of the response connection factory. This parameter is valid only if type is MQJMS or generic.
sendDestination
An optional parameter that specifies the JNDI name of the send destination.
activationSpec
An optional parameter that specifies the JNDI name of the activation specification. This parameter is valid only if type is JMS.
listenerPort
An optional parameter that specifies the JNDI name of the listener port. This parameter is valid only if type is MQJMS or generic.

Example

Change the send destination of a JMS export binding called Export1 in a module called MyMod to MyDest:

wsadmin> $AdminTask modifySCAExportJMSBinding {-moduleName MyMod 
-export Export1 -type JMS -sendDestination MyDest}
