Using the Alert Manager dashboard widget, you can subscribe or unsubscribe to predefined alert notifications and have the notification sent to your dashboard, e-mail inbox, pager, or cell phone. From the Alert Manager, you can also create new alerts that other users can subscribe to.
Before you can receive alert notifications, you must first subscribe to them.
If you previously created an alert using the Alert Manager, it will also be displayed in the list.
From the Alert Manager, you can create alert notifications from existing key performance indicators (KPIs). Creating an alert notification involves specifying a trigger condition, and creating a notification message and subscription list. You can share the alerts that you create so that other users can view and subscribe to them.
After you create an alert using the Alert Manager, you can easily edit it, for example, if you want to change the notification message. You can also copy or delete the alerts.
