Role Instance Detail

Use this page to view detailed information for the selected role instance and to edit the role instance property values.

To view this page in the administrative console, click Integration Applications > Relationship Manager > Relationships > select the radio button next to the relationship name > Query > relationshipinstanceid > Details > roleinstanceid.

Required security role for this task: When security and role-based authorization are enabled, you must be logged in as a monitor, an operator, a configurator, or an administrator to access this page. Monitors and configurators can only view the information.

Each role instance includes the role name, role element, key attributes, property values, status, and logical state. You have the following options:

Role name

Specifies the URL of this role. This field is read-only.

Role element

Specifies the instance ID for the relationship. This field is read-only.

Key attributes

Displays the key attribute name and value of the business object participating in the role instance. This field is read-only.

Property values

Displays a shorthand tabular list of properties for the role instance, including the property name, property object type, property default value and property value. You can edit the value for the property in the Value field if properties are defined for the role instance. If no property values are defined, you cannot set any values here.

Status

Specifies whether the role instance is created or not.

Logical state

Specifies whether the selected role instance is active or inactive. If the role instance is inactive, it will not be visible to the relationship service.
