Using KPI range templates

For quick KPI building, use the KPI range templates.

The KPI range templates provide range definitions that you can use as an alternative to creating ranges manually. You can edit KPI range templates and create new ranges.

Creating a KPI range template

  1. Open KPI properties and select the Range tab.
  2. Under the range definition, select Copy from template.
  3. From the KPI Range Template window, select a template option. From this window you can add, edit and delete templates.*
  4. To add a template, click Add.
  5. Enter a name for the range.
  6. In the Color column, click on the color swatch to choose a color.
  7. To choose an icon to represent the range, in the Icon column, click in the cell and select an icon from the icon palette.
  8. Click Add row to add another row to the template.
  9. Click OK to save changes and return to the KPI range properties.

* Limitations in this window could prevent backspacing and deleting in some fields.
