Before you begin
Before you uninstall the feature pack, make sure the following are true:
Procedure
  1. Log on to the i5/OS® system with a user profile that has *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities.
  2. Stop the server from which you are uninstalling the feature pack.
  3. Run the following command from the Qshell command line in the install_root/uninstall.wpswesbfep directory:

    uninstall -silent

Uninstalling the feature pack from the System i server removes feature pack libraries and directories.

  4. Review the log file (log.txt). It is located in the install_root/logs/wpswesbfep/uninstall directory.
Results

The uninstaller uninstalls the feature pack.

If the uninstaller detects that the server is running, the uninstallation process fails and logs the details in the log file. Manually stop the server, and then repeat the uninstallation process.

If the feature pack does not uninstall successfully, examine the logs in the install_root/logs/wpswesbfep/uninstall/log.txt file to identify the cause of the problem. Correct the problem and try uninstalling the feature pack again.
