Use the Draft Artifacts widget
to select and view project elements or images that are currently under
review.

You use the Draft Artifacts widget
with the Comments widget.
In a typical usage scenario, you select a process (or another form
of information) from the Publisher Navigator,
examine it in the Process Viewer,
and use the Comments widget
to comment on specific areas of it.
There are two main types of information that can be viewed in this
widget: diagrams and text. Diagrams are displayed visually, and text-based
information is disclosed as associated properties and attributes.
The following kinds of information are displayed as diagrams:
- Processes that visually depict the flow of events and data process
elements
- Structures that graphically render the hierarchy of an organization
- Timetables that represent a schedule
- Images such as form images or WebSphere® Business Monitor dashboard
images
The following kinds of information are displayed as text:
- Data elements such as business items, business item instances,
and business item templates that represent data or types of data
- Business services that are model elements that represent Web Service
Definition Language (WSDL) files. Business services contain operations,
which are similar to services. Process diagrams might include operations
in the process flow.
- Business service objects that are model elements that represent
XSD files. Business service objects contain business service object
definitions, which are similar to business items or business item
templates. Model elements might refer the business service object
definitions in the XSD files or inline business service object definitions
in the WSDL files (business services) instead of a business item or
business item template.
- Resources that represent people or things that are used in a process
- Repositories represent things that store data, such as databases
The
Draft Artifacts widget
includes the following sections:
- Publisher Navigator
- The Publisher Navigator uses
a tree format to display all of the artifacts that are available for
comment. To view an artifact, expand the nodes on the list and click
the name of an artifact. The artifact is displayed in the Process Viewer.
- To refine the choices, choose between a long list (Full
) or a filtered list (Simplified
) by clicking the appropriate icon. |
