Deployment environments

A deployment environment is a collection of configured clusters, servers, and middleware that collaborate to provide an environment to host software modules. For example, a deployment environment might include a host for message destinations, a processor or sorter of business events, and administrative programs.

Administer deployment environments when you need to update the deployment environments managed by a deployment manager. The Deployment Environments administrative console page is the starting point for all tasks related to the management and definition of deployment environments defined to a particular deployment manager.
