WebSphere Business Space powered by WebSphere, Version 6.2.0

Selecting Instances columns

Use this procedure to select the columns for your Instances table.

  1. From the Instances widget title bar, click Display menu icon and select Configure. The Show/Hide tab opens with the default monitoring context selected.

By default, the Show/Hide tab lists monitoring contexts for all versions of the models deployed (this is indicated with the "Across all versions" label next to the model name) and your default monitoring context is selected.

To add version-specific monitoring contexts for each model to the list, enable the Include model specific versions check box. Each time you enable or disable the Include model specific versions option, the monitoring context list is rendered.

Your default monitoring context is always selected. If you select a version-specific monitoring context as the default, the Include model specific versions option becomes disabled. To enable the option again, you must select an "Across all versions" monitoring context as the default. (This is to prevent the default monitoring context from being hidden.)

  2. On the Show/Hide tab, select a monitoring context. The available column names for the monitoring context are listed under Available.
  3. Choose the column names that you want the Instances table to display and move them from Available to Selected using the arrow buttons.
Note: (Small downward triangle) next to a column name in the list indicates the name of a monitoring context.
  4. Set the order of columns by using the up and down arrows.
  5. In the Number of rows to be displayed field, enter the number of rows to be displayed on a single page.
  6. In the Refresh rate in seconds field, enter a number of seconds to represent how frequently the monitoring context instances are refreshed.
  7. To save changes, click Apply or OK.
Note: A Check mark icon check mark next to the monitoring context name indicates that preferences have previously been saved for that monitoring context.
