This information applies to feature pack. To use what is described, you must have installed the optional feature pack Uninstalling single or stacked products with the feature pack installed

The requirements differ for uninstalling a single product or a stacked product from underneath a feature pack with maintenance. The stacked products can be WebSphere® Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, WebSphere Business Monitor, or WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server.

About this task
The following table lists these requirements based on the number of products installed at the same location.

Task Requirements
Uninstall a single product when only one product is installed.
  1. Uninstall the feature pack using the feature pack uninstaller, which will automatically uninstall the feature pack maintenance. Refer to:
  2. Uninstall the product maintenance using the Update Installer. Refer to your product specific information.
  3. Uninstall the product using the product uninstaller. Refer to your product specific information.
Uninstall a single product when multiple products are stacked onto the same installation.
  1. Uninstall the feature pack using the feature pack uninstaller, which will automatically uninstall the feature pack maintenance. Refer to:
  2. Uninstall the stacked product maintenance using the Update Installer. Refer to your product specific information.
  3. Uninstall the stacked product using the product uninstaller. Refer to your product specific information.
  4. Re-install the feature pack using the feature pack installer on to the remaining stacked product(s). Refer to:
  5. Re-install the feature pack maintenance using the Update Installer. Refer to:
