If you own a page, you can share it so that other people
can see its information. You can also give people permission to edit
the page.
When you share a page, you can designate users as viewers
or editors directly or indirectly. When you designate users directly,
you explicitly add users to the list of viewers or to the list of
editors. When you designate users indirectly, you add the groups to
which the users belong to the list of viewers or to the list of editors.
To
share a page:
- If the Business Space Manager is
not open, click Manage Business Spaces. The Business Space Manager lists
the business spaces to which you have access and the
pages that they contain.
- Select the page.
- If you want the page to not use the viewer list and the
editor list of the space, disable Share with users of this
Business Space. If you leave this option selected,
the page uses both the space lists and the page lists to determine
whether the user has access and the type of access.
- If you want to specify user access for the page, select Share
with the following users and then designate a user or
group as a viewer or editor:
- From the Viewers or Editors menu,
click Add. A window opens.
- Type the name or partial name into the search field
and click Search.
- Select the person or group and click OK.
- Click Save.
