The CICS Transaction Gateway (CICS TG) Software Development Kit (SDK) provides
resources to develop applications for CICS Transaction Gateway.

The term <CICSTG_SDK> represents the name of the downloaded CICS TG SDK file.


For Microsoft Windows:

1. Transfer the <CICSTG_SDK> zip file to an application development workstation.

2. Unzip the <CICSTG_SDK> file using a utility which supports the .zip format.


For UNIX:

1. Transfer the <CICSTG_SDK> tar.gz file to an application development workstation.

2. Decompress the <CICSTG_SDK> file using a utility which supports the .gz format. 
   This converts the <CICSTG_SDK> tar.gz file to a .tar file.

3. Expand the <CICSTG_SDK> .tar file using a utility which supports the .tar format.
