Because of their smaller buffer size, the XDIME aggregator will not send any images for navigation links to WML devices or devices that use HTML pagination.
Such devices can, however, receive portlets that are not processed by the XDIME aggregator and that contain images similar to the images found in the Mobile Welcome portlet.
